On Sunday, July 3rd at Houston's JP Hops House starting at 2 PM, we'll be having a fundraiser event for the Kerrville Music Camp for Teens. https://www.kerrvillefolkfestival.org/music-camp-for-teens-2022

This event is sponsored by Shoulder to the Stone https://www.facebook.com/shouldertothestone with help from Song Circle Houston https://www.facebook.com/SongCircleHouston both Houston area 501c3 organizations dedicated to promoting Houston area music and musicians.

The music camp will be at Quiet Valley Ranch July 17-21 where a faculty of top music professionals teach and inspire 60-80 young people ages 13-18 with courses in songwriting, poetry, music foundation, and performance skills as well as helping them to realize and find their individual voices. Activities include daily classes, nightly open mics with group and individual performances, and a canoe trip on the Guadalupe River.

Along with the core faculty are a couple dozen staff members including professionals from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Texas, medical professionals, and a group of dedicated volunteers insuring this event to be both a highly motivational and safe
